Amr, i think this has the potential but hasnt reached a good point yet. Your ideas can be quite interesting (site approach, shifting/tilted masses, building as topography...) I still dont think the bldgs are scaled properly in these sketches, and once they are they will look totally different. Also i think they are too seperated from each other and dont have a common language. Why does the bldg slope down in specific areas without any logic? why not slope down in other areas? how can this stepped organization help with program distribution? Could we develop these envelopes into a continuous structural shell/element? Please consider folding surfaces as an interesting point to research, and start by looking at the Yokohama gerry terminal by FOA. Again, please read about it carefully. In general i think you're on the way to something good, but it needs serious work.
we are working using the big idea as (Folds)directly modifying the model with trials for accommodation of inner spaces, approach and gathering spaces .. His idea is interesting and approved but need a lot of work and model trials we are pushing them to go for scaled drawings that will be submitted on boards next Wednesday isa.. i gave him a reference (Folding architecture) a book to how to develop his model.. i think the idea of the folded surface will give him a different perspective for the project.. i m with u Yokohama terminal is a good example to look for
