  1. Ahmed, your analysis and studies are disappointing. You are reading the examples in a different way than i intended (this shows you didnt even read my email carefully). Please read about these precedents, and understand why they are important (we dont need photos of the buildings as much as we need you to learn from them). Please go back to my email and do the research and analysis of Yokohama ferry terminal again. I am also still waiting for your remaining posts of your model and developments.

  2. Mazin, yes ahmed's development was really bad the precedents weren't taking his project anywhere.. But we talked about the idea of FLEXIBILITY and how can we make the space flexible :

First: using a large space with modular structure in which we can divide according to the use keeping the space as flexible as possible

Second: using a mega structure on the periphery which allows for the maximum flexibility in the inner space

third: depending on inner vertical cores that allows an appropriate space around and gives us max. flexibility in the outer envelope

Finally we decided he is going to use one or more to emphasize the idea.. he is interested in the concept of layering as well but i think it is a secondary idea

Ahmed plz sent the latest photos
