good job with the research, i think you should extend it to look at complex geometric configurations (e.g. layered, patterned) that give a continuous dynamic feel to the skin while you walk/drive past it. Jean Nouvel has an interesting geometric skin in a tower in doha, qatar.
I am thinking of emphasizing the central glass atrium through a spiral staircase that will then cast a vertical feel and appear vaguely from outside. this staircase will also mark the flow of students through space.
